This role ensures seamless delivery of the ultra-luxury guest experience that defines O\u2019Two Hotel while deputising for the Managing Director in their absence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist the Managing Director in the strategic planning, direction, and coordination of all hotel operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure consistency in ultra-luxury service delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead, mentor, and develop Heads of Department; conduct performance reviews and succession planning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Champion the hotel\u2019s brand standards, ensuring every guest touchpoint reflects the five-star ethos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage and resolve escalated guest complaints with diplomacy, empathy, and swift resolution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and analyse operational KPIs, financial performance reports, and guest satisfaction scores.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive revenue-generating initiatives in collaboration with Sales, Revenue, and F&amp;B teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure full compliance with all statutory, health, safety, and licensing requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represent the hotel at industry events, VIP functions, and community engagements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee budgeting processes and monitor departmental cost controls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and genuine hospitality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deputise for the Managing Director in their absence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 8\u201310 years\u2019 progressive hotel management experience, with at least 3 years at EAM or equivalent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prior experience in a five-star or ultra-luxury property is essential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven track record of leading large, multi-cultural teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&amp;L management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must be actively and currently employed in this position or a directly comparable role, with a minimum of 1 year of continuous, uninterrupted tenure in that capacity at the time of application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven hotel pre-opening experience is essential. The candidate must have been an integral member of a hotel opening team, actively involved in establishing operational standards, systems, service culture, and team structures from the ground up prior to the property\u2019s first guest arrival.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated experience serving an international, high-net-worth, and culturally diverse clientele, with a refined understanding of the nuanced expectations, sensitivities, and preferences of discerning global travellers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prior experience within an ultra-luxury property is strongly preferred, with a thorough understanding of the intimate, detail-obsessed, and hyper-personalised service culture that defines a 102-key operation \u2014 where every guest interaction carries the full weight of the brand and no request is too small to matter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Competencies &amp; Skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Exceptional leadership and people management skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High emotional intelligence and guest-centric mindset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strategic thinker with strong operational problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Protel).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multilingual ability is an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Closing date: End of June<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>O\u2019Two Hotel is an equal opportunity employer.
